Alpine Ski & Sail Touring – Level 4
Randonee or Split Board
WHERE
Svalbard, Norway
WHEN
To be announced
May 2026
Join us on a true ski expedition as we explore Svalbard by ski, using an expedition sailboat as our moving basecamp. Each day, we’ll sail to shore, scout our objective using maps and binoculars, and set off to climb and ski untouched
peaks.
With no avalanche bulletins or guidebooks for this region, every decision will be made in the field, requiring sharp judgment and real expedition skills. This is about more than just skiing—it’s about pioneering first ski ascents,
seeking out the best snow, and embracing the raw adventure of the Arctic.
Requirements: Participants must have completed an avalanche course and be comfortable skiing off-piste and on glaciers.
Strong fitness is essential for sustained uphill travel, and solid technical skills are required for skiing in variable snow conditions.
This expedition is also about experiencing Greenlandic culture, and we’ll make sure to include some local Greenlandic food along the way.
If you’re ready for a ski adventure unlike any other, this is your chance.
