If you dream to make a ski expedition in the winter wonderworld, this is the course for you. I will teach all skills you need to be self-sufficient and what kind of gear you need and how to use it.

During the course we will each day build a good winter tent camp with a windwall. We will among other things also teach you how to use a multi-fuel stove properly in the cold.

The course is planned as a ski expedition around Jotunheimen, where we will start at Gjendesheim mountain hut the first day. Herafter we will move outside, where we each day will ski to a new location and train navigation even if it’s whiteout.

All participants need to be familiar with fjellski both up and downhill.

DAY FOR DAY 

Day 1: Travel to Kirkeness or Alta. Transport to mountain hut where we get first night and all gear and food ready.

Day 2: Day trip from Mountain hut

Day 3-6: Ski Expedition with tent and pulka

Day 7: Transport back to airport. 

This program and location is a template and it might change according to weather and snow conditions.
